Words To Live By: Sunday Motivations !
1. New Year, New Adventures!
Welcome the new year with open arms. Optimism for growth is key as you create the life you've always imagined. Reaching your full potential is as simple as making a plan, following the steps, revising with growth, follow through, and completion! The canvas is yours to paint a beautiful picture as you now have a clean new slate represented in the form of the new year. Momentum is your biggest weapon against failure, so move brisk and seek accomplishment with a "now or never" mentality. I wish you much success!
2. Happiness is a Choice!
We all have moments of feeling down and out, but don't allow that to be the tone for your life. Each day is a blessing from God and should be treated as such. Choose to see the beauty in the day at hand oppose to dwelling on the sorrows of yesteryear. The secret to being happy is accepting where you are in life and making the most out of each day! Make new wonderful memories that you can one day look back and smile on, don't continue to stack the days against yourself for you will shadow your time on God's beautiful earth. Open your senses and enjoy this time, tackle your dreams, make it happen for yourself because no one else can do that for you! In the wise words of Bobby McFerrin, "don't worry, be happy."
3. Compare You With Only You!
Don't drown out your worth by comparing yourself with others. You must remember that your path is unique and yours alone. If you downplay yourself by comparing yourself with someone much further down the road of success or dimming your light by feeling not as beautiful as someone else, you're only stacking the deck against yourself. Remember that God made you and our Lord makes no mistakes, your light shines in the unique way God meant for it to. The only person you should compete with is the old you! Get better everyday, shine brighter in every way. Your life is what you make it, make it a good one!
4. Be An Advocate For Change!
Society today is a cycle of one opinion against the next, and spotlighting negativity. And we grow complacent and tired of it, but we have to ask ourselves, " am I apart of the solution or the problem?" Do we add to the negativity circulating or are we advocating positivity? Change begins with making the personal choice not to entertain the negativity and those numbers decrease by one. Your energies are powerful and by you taking attention away from the bs, you are making a powerful shift towards the greater good!
